Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with third-party vendors, including negotiating service contracts for facilities maintenance, marketing, food service, and IT.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to define strategic goals and formulate budgets that align with organizational objectives.
- Develop and oversee a comprehensive facilities plan, incorporating a five-year forecast to address maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all City, State, and Federal regulations pertaining to food service, facilities, and adult care operations.
- Manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including the website and social media platforms, to improve communication and outreach.
- Supervise daily business operations across all locations, ensuring efficiency and optimal maintenance at each site.
- Direct and mentor staff across various departments, offering constructive feedback and promoting professional advancement.
- Regularly assess business procedures, collect data, and implement enhancements to optimize operational efficiency.
- Review financial performance and adjust operational budgets to enhance profitability in collaboration with the COO and CFO.
- Develop and revise policies, ensuring their effective implementation organization-wide.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and legal standards.
- Exceptional leadership and organizational capabilities.
- Proficiency in vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Strong budgeting and financial oversight skills.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including ADP and Blackbaud.
- Ability to nurture a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline; a Master's degree is advantageous.
- A minimum of five years of experience in an operational capacity.
- Preferred experience in facilities and food service management.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and legal guidelines.
- Background in education or non-profit management is desirable.
