Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of financial systems that align with our organization's strategic objectives and promote operational efficiency.
• Engage in significant discussions regarding financial forecasting, risk management, resource allocation, and operational priorities.
• Oversee key financial processes, including budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting systems.
• Foster inclusive decision-making by engaging both internal and external stakeholders in financial discussions.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards while facilitating grant management and private funding efforts.
• Maintain a balance between strategic oversight and involvement in day-to-day operational tasks to ensure effective execution.
  
  

Required Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degrees or CPA credentials are preferred.
• Over a decade of progressive financial leadership experience in complex nonprofit settings, with a history of managing budgets exceeding $5 million.
• Proven expertise in financial management practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and optimizing financial systems.
• Demonstrated capacity to manage both high-level strategic initiatives and daily operational tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
• A collaborative spirit, fostering transparency and accountability in all decision-making processes.

Compensation And Benefits

• Starting salary ranges from \(90,000 to \)105,000.
• Full-time, exempt position directly reporting to the Executive Director.
