We are seeking an accomplished Manager of Operations to spearhead activities within our Operations Center. This pivotal role involves the supervision of supplies procurement, inventory management, quality assurance, and facility upkeep, ensuring that all operational processes are aligned with our service and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all operational functions within a high-volume Distribution Center.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to team members and frontline management.
- Manage departmental operating expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary goals.
- Monitor and achieve Key Performance Indicators in Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Turnover.
- Enhance customer service by resolving issues in collaboration with the Account Management team.
- Facilitate seamless transitions for new customers at the distribution center.
- Develop and implement operational policies to maintain adherence to established procedures.
- Conduct root cause analyses to enhance team dynamics, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee talent development and succession planning within the department.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, acting as the Designated Representative when necessary.
- Execute additional duties as assigned while adhering to company policies.
- Strong financial acumen with prior profit and loss oversight.
- Exceptional planning and organizational capabilities to manage intricate initiatives.
- Proven analytical skills with experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Ability to inspire change and motivate team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective engagement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
