Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for office management, including oversight of coworking space partnerships and lease negotiations.
- Administer operational budgets and software systems while ensuring effective cost management.
- Provide comprehensive reporting on attendance, sustainability initiatives, and operational performance metrics.
- Oversee cybersecurity training and vendor management processes.
- Supervise the Operations Coordinator, offering support in office administration, social media, and recruitment efforts.
- Manage the employee onboarding process via the PEO platform for a seamless experience.
- Oversee payroll, bonuses, contractor payments, and employee benefits administration.
- Lead annual and mid-year performance evaluation processes and maintain human resources scorecards.
- Ensure legal compliance and sustain current employee handbooks and policies.
- Oversee financial records using QuickBooks, managing accounts payable, receivable, and client invoicing.
- Organize company-wide events such as community service days, team-building exercises, and annual celebrations.
- Conduct quarterly employee engagement surveys to promote continuous improvement.
- Provide executive support to leadership including editing correspondence and preparing presentation materials.
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks, TriNet, and HRIS/PEO platforms.
- In-depth understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- A proactive and positive disposition with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in sustainability initiatives and managing EcoVadis assessments is advantageous.
- SHRM-CP certification is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in operations, HR, or administrative leadership roles.
- Previous P&L or bookkeeping experience is beneficial.
- Experience within a startup or services agency environment is a plus.
