Key Responsibilities
- Direct the organization, execution, and assessment of clinical services within surgical areas, guaranteeing high-quality care and patient safety.
- Manage financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities while sustaining or enhancing care quality.
- Collaborate with leadership to devise and implement strategies focused on efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
- Partner closely with physicians, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to meet procedural standards and enhance operational efficiency.
- Mentor and supervise clinical managers, charge nurses, and surgical teams, promoting leadership growth and professional advancement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to meet legal, regulatory, and accrediting standards.
- Spearhead initiatives aimed at elevating patient and staff satisfaction, achieving superior outcomes in surgical services.
- Cultivate positive working relationships with anesthesia teams, surgeons, and service line partners.

- Oversee all human resources aspects, including labor relations, employee safety, and educational prerequisites.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on influential leadership.
- Proven track record in driving results and accomplishing organizational objectives, particularly in financial and operational performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN); a Master's degree in a health-related field or MBA is preferred (to be obtained within three years).
- At least five years of clinical nursing experience specifically in a perioperative or surgical context.
- Minimum of five years of managerial experience, demonstrating leadership within a healthcare setting.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Healthcare Provider) is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
