Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute a comprehensive multi-year fundraising strategy that aligns with the overall objectives of the organization.
• Supervise all fundraising activities, encompassing major gifts, planned giving, annual contributions, corporate sponsorships, foundation grants, special events, and donor stewardship.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and board members to pinpoint and prioritize fundraising initiatives and opportunities.
• Foster a culture of philanthropy by actively engaging staff, board members, and volunteers in our mission.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, corporate partners, and community stakeholders.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of 75 to 100 philanthropic donors, ensuring meaningful engagement and support.
• Create tailored cultivation and stewardship plans for key donors, including those liaised through the CEO and development team.
• Produce compelling marketing materials and communications that resonate with potential donors.
• Partner with the Board of Directors to meet fundraising objectives and broaden donor networks.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of development professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Serve as an enthusiastic representative of the organization at community events and networking functions.
• Oversee the annual fundraising budget and compliance with ethical fundraising standards.
• Evaluate and refine fundraising systems and technologies to enhance donor engagement and operational effectiveness.

• Proven strategic leadership skills with a track record of achieving ambitious fundraising results.
• Extensive fundraising experience (7-10 years), including senior roles related to major gifts and corporate sponsorships.
• Strong aptitude in crafting impactful narratives that inspire action among donors.
• Proficiency in managing donor databases and implementing best fundraising practices.
• Relationship-oriented with expertise in building long-lasting connections with various stakeholders.
• Experience in collaborating with volunteer boards and managing fundraising committees.

• A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive fundraising experience with demonstrated success in leadership roles.
• Proven ability to secure major gifts, planned gifts, and corporate sponsorships.
