- Utilize radiology information systems to enhance patient care.

- Independently operate ultrasound equipment while adhering to established protocols.
- Review patient images to ensure diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
- Conduct routine quality control measures in accordance with regulatory standards and resolve any identified issues.
- Assist with daily departmental operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
- Tailor your approach to address the unique needs of diverse patient populations, ensuring privacy and effective communication.
- Proficient in data entry and patient information retrieval through computer systems.
- Competent in Windows-based applications and relevant software tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for presenting information effectively to varied audiences.
- Knowledgeable in human anatomy to perform abdominal ultrasounds and provide preliminary insights to radiologists.
- Completion of a CAHEA-approved formal training program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) status or registry eligibility (must obtain within one year of hire).
- Advanced certifications in relevant specialties according to facility needs.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
