Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Deputy Regional Program Director to lead the administration and oversight of medical services at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sites. This pivotal role involves delivering exemplary operational leadership, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations, and guiding a dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to quality service. Please note, this position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the program leader for medical services across designated CBP locations, including ports of entry and border patrol stations.
  • Supervise daily operations, ensuring strict compliance with established policies, protocols, and contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate the recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for healthcare personnel.
  • Manage scheduling to achieve optimal staffing levels.
  • Implement risk management, quality assurance, and performance enhancement initiatives.
  • Formulate logistical and procurement strategies to meet operational requirements.
  • Conduct performance evaluations to foster continuous improvement and implement best practices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of program activities.
  • Organize medical training and in-service education for clinical staff.
  • Safeguard patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with organizational leadership to fulfill program objectives and elevate service delivery.

Required Skills

  • Strong operational acumen in healthcare management.
  • Excellent analytical skills for assessing program efficiency and financial health.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient in managing logistics, staffing, and program operations in fast-paced settings.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical documentation systems and healthcare compliance standards.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
  • Preferred professional certifications include PMP, CPC, or CSP.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, healthcare management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of two years of management experience in healthcare services.
  • Strong track record in managing complex healthcare programs and environments requiring rapid decision-making.
