Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee all construction activities for assigned projects, collaborating with the project team and division leaders to synchronize work and timelines.
- Collaborate with site Superintendents to identify cost-effective construction methodologies and strategies, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships to promote customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
- Review project drawings and specifications for compliance, closely monitoring the progress of construction.
- Assist in job estimate preparation through accurate interpretation of bid documents.
- Formulate subcontracts and purchase orders as necessary.
- Track and manage project timelines, ensuring that critical path requirements are met.
- Manage the submittal and RFI processes, ensuring all pertinent information is reviewed and approved.
- Collaborate with project teams to enhance production efficiencies, minimize costs, and ensure financial success by strategically managing project budgets.
- Uphold safety compliance by monitoring and implementing necessary corrective actions.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure timely submissions.
- Conduct regular site visits to coordinate with site Superintendents and monitor project progress.
- Serve as the primary liaison for project Owners, Construction Managers, and project teams.
- Participate in coordination and project-specific meetings to ensure all stakeholders are informed.
- Aid in the development of proposals and scope of work for clients, clearly defining all essential components.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical correspondence.
- Significant experience in construction procurement and contract management.
- Strong understanding of job estimates, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the capability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
- Ability to foster positive, collaborative relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
- Remarkable attention to detail and adaptability to evolving requirements.
- Capacity to develop and implement alternative work methods when necessary.
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience within the commercial construction sector.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Sage).
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification (must be obtained within the first 60 days).
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel throughout Florida, including occasional overnight trips.
