Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to spearhead and oversee critical enterprise-level projects within our organization. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of executing large-scale manufacturing projects, including equipment installations and facility setups, while also enhancing the organization's project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple large-scale manufacturing projects, focusing on facility setups, equipment installations, and process optimization.
• Provide comprehensive PMO support across various business units, championing operational excellence and realizing cost-saving goals.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans with defined timelines, budgets, and resource strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project performance through KPIs and furnish regular updates to stakeholders via detailed reports and presentations.
• Identify potential risks early on and devise effective mitigation strategies to proactively address any project disruptions.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to articulate project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Partner with plant leaders to validate savings and deliver measurable results across the organization.
• Standardize project management methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and consistency.
• Foster a culture of operational excellence by implementing best practices in project management.
• Ensure all project executions comply with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Contribute to the organization's growth by advancing project management capabilities and facilitating training programs.
• Operate autonomously while exercising sound judgment and escalating issues to leadership as necessary.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills in both remote and in-person settings.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, MS SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster effective teamwork.
• Competence in developing detailed project plans and identifying risk mitigation strategies.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) or Business Management is required.
• A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or a proven history of leading continuous improvement projects in manufacturing environments is required.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in managing multiple projects and providing PMO support for enterprise-level initiatives.
• Experience in developing and standardizing project management methodologies is advantageous.
