Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections of both residential and commercial properties to evaluate damages.
- Collaborate effectively with policyholders, insurance agents, and other relevant stakeholders to collect essential information and facilitate seamless claim resolutions.
- Exhibit professional and empathetic communication skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Provide policyholders with clear and concise explanations regarding their coverage and the next steps in the claims process.
- Compile evidence, document findings, and prepare comprehensive reports to support efficient claims processing.
- Investigate and adjust property claims, including those involving high-value losses of up to $500,000.
- Ensure compliance of claims with policy terms as well as local regulations.
- Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits, adhering to industry best practices.
- Demonstrated experience as a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist or in a comparable role.
- In-depth knowledge of property insurance policies and claims handling practices.
- Familiarity with the intricacies of residential and commercial building construction.
- Strong understanding of local regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with policyholders and stakeholders.
- Proven aptitude for assessing damages, estimating repair costs, and negotiating settlements.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in claims management software and relevant tools.
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and climb ladders for inspection purposes.
- Valid driver’s license and completion of Rope and Harness Safety Training, if necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- Experience in managing complex or high-value claims is an advantage.

- Competitive salary range: \(59,059.65 - \)90,000 annually (\(29.31 - \)44.67 hourly), contingent on experience.
