Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the supervision of Clinicians and Counselors, ensuring that counseling practices, treatment plans, service supervision, case documentation, and discharge processes uphold exemplary standards.
- Enhance service quality through diligent monitoring and maintain proper documentation practices.
- Facilitate in-service training for staff, while also identifying additional training needs.
- Collaborate in the formulation and execution of policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for service enhancement and expansion.
- Conduct site visits to schools and various locations to ensure adherence to service plans.
- Direct the development and implementation of individualized service strategies.
- Ensure compliance with training and certification requirements for Counselors is consistently met.
- Approve and carry out assessments in instances where a Clinician is unavailable.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and supervisory capabilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of day treatment procedures.
- Superior verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven experience in creating and implementing individualized service plans.
- Knowledge of Medicaid regulations, behavioral health standards, and child protective services protocols.
- Strong skills in documentation, counseling, and behavior management.
- Familiarity with assessment tools and performance training methodologies.
- A Master's degree in Human Services or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in providing casework services to children and families.
- A valid driver's license, current DMV driving record, and proof of automobile insurance.
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, and Behavior Management (or a willingness to obtain these).
- Ability to successfully undergo a background check and registry screening.
- Strong professional references reflecting your experience and expertise.
