- Respond promptly to inbound calls from Veterans, facilitating phone orders that may involve multiple transactions.
- Efficiently process, track, and manage customer orders utilizing Outlook email, scanner technology, and our Remote Order Entry System (ROES).
- Address customer inquiries via email with timely and accurate responses through Outlook.
- Verify shipment tracking details to guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of orders.
- Collect essential information from customers to ensure precise order placement.
- Conduct professional and courteous telephone interviews to resolve customer inquiries and issues.
- Navigate vendor websites adeptly to locate specific product guides, manuals, and manufacturer information.
- Process credit card payments associated with transactions.
- Assist customers in navigating the ROES software program, providing necessary guidance and support.
- Offer assistance on technical or administrative inquiries related to ordering procedures and problem resolution.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to actively listen and engage with customers over the phone.
- Strong written communication abilities, including a solid grasp of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation for composing correspondence.
- Proficiency in using Outlook email and scanner technology.
- Competence in navigating vendor websites to gather relevant information.
- Technical skills in utilizing software applications such as ROES.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of six months of experience in customer service principles and practices.
