Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely and accurate responses to inquiries from travelers worldwide concerning applications managed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) related to re-entry, visa renewals, and travel/immigration matters.
  • Communicate effectively with customers through phone and email to provide precise information using government-approved guidelines.
  • Manage multiple inquiries in a single email while adhering to established protocols and templates.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into the Customer Database, maintaining high standards of grammar and clarity.
  • Relocate reportable communication to the appropriate department as required.
  • Provide insights into policies and procedures for travelers, assisting with travel-related queries and DHS claims.
  • Undertake additional tasks as necessary to enhance team and customer support.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional proficiency in web-based applications.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to navigate various digital platforms.
  • Capable of managing customer inquiries with professionalism and clarity.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • Compliance with all security eligibility standards is required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Proven ability to manage complex situations with professionalism and composure, especially under pressure.
