Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the behaviors, skills, and needs of children with ASD.
- Develop customized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) informed by assessment findings.
- Design and implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions tailored to the individual goals of each client.
- Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Utilize ABA techniques to bolster social, communication, academic, and daily living competencies.
- Deploy strategies aimed at reducing maladaptive behaviors while promoting positive developmental changes.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, making informed, data-driven adjustments.
- Maintain comprehensive records and generate reports to track client progress.
- Educate and support parents and caregivers in the effective implementation of behavioral strategies at home.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators to facilitate a holistic approach to treatment.
- Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and direct support staff, ensuring excellence in service delivery.
- Conduct training sessions for staff members to uphold high-quality standards of care.
- Engage with community resources to support client integration and enhance service delivery.
- Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines, professional standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Stay informed on advancements in behavior analysis and autism treatment methodologies.
- Manage crisis situations effectively using appropriate de-escalation techniques.
- Complete clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Demonstrated experience in implementing ABA programming and behavioral interventions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to adapt treatment plans based on collected data.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for meaningful engagement with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds when required.
- Proficiency in data entry, computer literacy, and familiarity with CPT coding.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline.
