Key Responsibilities
- Manage a manageable caseload involving home studies and post-release services.
- Provide supervision and support to staff, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and deadlines.
- Oversee Home Study and PRS Level III cases to guarantee high-quality outcomes.
- Offer guidance on trauma-informed crisis intervention strategies and connect families to necessary services.
- Assess staff recommendations concerning sponsor suitability and safety, ensuring ongoing human trafficking screenings.
- Assist in coordinating interviews, home visits, and managing staff travel and caseloads.
- Maintain confidentiality of records and ensure compliance with program regulations.
- Report significant incidents or concerns to relevant stakeholders and act as a mandated reporter for abuse or neglect.
- Engage in training and meetings to enhance program effectiveness.
- Travel as necessary to provide services and meet with staff across various locations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to meet program needs.
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), psychology, sociology, or a related behavioral science field, with a minimum of 2 years of direct service experience; or a bachelor's degree in one of these fields with at least 6 years of clinical experience.
- Supervisory experience along with a valid clinical supervision license.
- Comprehensive knowledge of family preservation, trauma-informed care, and child welfare policies, as well as pertinent state and federal regulations.
- Experience with home studies, post-release services, and working with immigrant populations is advantageous.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal English and Spanish.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for in-person visits as required.
- A Master's degree in Social Work, psychology, sociology, or a related behavioral science field, with at least 2 years of direct service experience; or a bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned fields, plus a minimum of 6 years of clinical experience.
- Supervisory experience is essential along with a valid clinical supervision license.
- Knowledge of child welfare policies and relevant regulations.
