In this pivotal position, you will spearhead a cross-functional team comprising engineers, scientists, and product managers, overseeing the entire product development lifecycle. Working in close collaboration with essential stakeholders—including product teams, legal experts, and senior executives—you will formulate strategic initiatives and craft state-of-the-art technologies that prioritize responsible AI practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead collaboration with science, product, and engineering teams to gain insights into current AI technologies, legal obligations, and responsible AI practices.
  • Establish clear objectives for the product team, ensuring coherence across departments and tracking key performance metrics.
  • Direct the team in translating strategies into tangible action plans, launching innovative features, and utilizing data to inform decision-making and gauge effectiveness.
  • Remain informed on developments in AI, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP), while monitoring relevant regulatory changes.
  • Act as an advocate for Responsible AI, promoting your team's initiatives to internal stakeholders and industry leaders.

Required Skills

  • Extensive experience in product management, with a minimum of 8 years in the field and over 5 years in leadership roles involving teams of product managers, engineers, or scientists.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, evidenced by a commitment to mentoring and nurturing future leaders in an inclusive and collaborative environment.
  • Proven expertise in transforming innovative concepts into practical solutions through effective teamwork.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior leadership.
  • A sincere dedication to responsible AI and a fervent desire to enhance equity and fairness in AI systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
