Remote Director of Savings and Claims Analysis

Job Overview

As the Director of Claims and Savings Analysis, you will spearhead a dynamic team responsible for delivering critical insights that underpin the growth and success of our organization. Your primary focus will be to identify achieved savings for existing clients, while also uncovering potential savings opportunities for prospective clients. This position will challenge you to innovate our analytical methodologies and effectively communicate these insights to clients, consultants, and brokers, thereby enhancing our reputation in the market. Reporting to the VP of Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and implementation of savings calculation methodologies.
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap aimed at optimizing and streamlining the savings analysis process.
• Oversee savings validation activities that engage the market effectively.
• Manage claims repricing for both current and prospective clients.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in cross-departmental discussions, working closely with teams in commercial, client success, accounting, and analytics.
  
  

Required Skills

• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis, with advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with statistical tools such as Python and Snowflake is advantageous.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to work autonomously while leading a team.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree in statistical analysis, health policy, or a related discipline is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in healthcare professional services, including roles in actuary, claims analysis, consulting, or similar fields.
• Prior experience in team management is desired.
