Job Overview

We are currently seeking a visionary Director of Product, Remote Sensing to spearhead the development of cutting-edge Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) solutions. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in defining the strategic direction for our satellite data products, ensuring they not only meet but exceed the expectations of our clients. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, will be essential in managing the entire product lifecycle, from conception to market introduction, while driving the global advancement of Earth observation technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the formulation of the product vision and strategy for SAR-based offerings, aligning with corporate objectives and emerging market opportunities.
• Inspire, mentor, and lead a dynamic product team, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional development.
• Conduct comprehensive market analysis to grasp customer needs, identify trends, and evaluate the competitive landscape within the Earth observation and SAR sectors.
• Develop and oversee the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback and market demands.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and operations teams to ensure product development is in sync with technical capabilities and available resources.
• Engage with customers to obtain valuable insights and feedback, integrating them into the product development process to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to devise effective go-to-market strategies and create compelling sales materials.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of product initiatives and inform future improvements.
  
  

Required Skills

• Over 8 years of experience in product management, with a minimum of 3 years focused on SAR or Earth observation technologies.
• Solid understanding of SAR imaging, satellite data products, and Earth observation technologies, preferably with a background in aerospace or remote sensing.
• Proven leadership capabilities in managing high-performing product teams in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including backlog management and iterative development processes.
• Strong analytical and strategic skills, adept at making data-driven decisions and formulating strategic product plans.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
