Key Responsibilities
- Deliver telephonic triage and assessments, offering immediate support for behavioral health issues, substance use concerns, relationship challenges, and work-life balance.
- Manage case coordination and follow-up on intakes, ensuring ongoing support for our valued members.
- Execute clinical determinations in line with company risk policies, prioritizing the well-being of both members and the organization.
- Provide referrals to service networks and additional resources addressing financial, legal, and personal assistance needs.
- Conduct telehealth intake assessments, coaching, and brief solution-focused counseling sessions.
- Collaborate with service providers for referrals, session authorization, and effective case completion.
- Maintain precise documentation within a computer-based case management system.
- Engage with Human Resources and supervisory personnel from client organizations regarding employee matters.
- Master's degree in a behavioral health discipline such as social work, psychology, or counseling.
- At least 5 years of post-master's experience as an EAP Counselor or in a comparable behavioral health clinical position.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities to provide empathetic and effective support.
- Proven experience conducting telephonic assessments and case management.
- Knowledge of service provider networks and resource coordination.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in behavioral health or EAP counseling.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and effective support to individuals in need.
