We are looking for a committed Customer Service Representative to enhance our Logistics Support team in a remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

  • Offer exemplary service to both external customers and internal teams to facilitate a seamless customer experience.
  • Handle inbound customer service calls and inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Efficiently process, review, and prioritize sales orders, service requests, and parts shipments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Address discrepancies in parts orders, including part numbers, quantities, and pricing, through effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Provide regular updates and analytical insights on sales orders, monitoring their status for timely delivery.
  • Manage returns and service parts credits, ensuring smooth processing and appropriate documentation.
  • Liaise with customers and vendors regarding service and part transactions, expediting orders as necessary.
  • Collaborate with shipping teams to ensure accurate international shipping documentation and logistics coordination.
  • Monitor freight expenses and resolve any discrepancies, guaranteeing accurate billing and cost allocation.
  • Coordinate the transfer of machinery and parts across regions for both domestic and international shipments.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably with a focus on processing sales orders.
  • An associate’s degree in Business is preferred.
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (experience with JD Edwards is an advantage).
  • Proficiency in tools such as DocuSign and Salesforce.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Understanding of international trade procedures, incoterms, and export/import documentation.
  • Experience in shipping software and data entry systems.
  • Strong inclination towards process improvements and the capability to implement enhancements that drive efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, fostering effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A problem solver with a proactive approach, capable of staying organized while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Attention to detail with a strong commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.

Qualifications

  • An associate’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
