Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary outpatient psychiatric care, encompassing evaluations, diagnoses, and tailored treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and continuous patient care.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to Advanced Practice Providers (PMHNPs/PAs) when necessary.
- Conduct both in-person and telehealth sessions to meet diverse patient needs.
- Remain updated on cutting-edge treatment modalities, such as TMS and Spravato, with opportunities for further training.
- Active medical license in Illinois.
- DEA license and Controlled Substance License (CDS) for Illinois.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
- Openness to working with a diverse patient demographic across various age groups.
- Interest in supervising Advanced Practice Providers (PMHNPs/PAs).
- Welcoming to recent residents on the verge of program completion, fellows, and seasoned psychiatrists.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
- Proven experience in outpatient psychiatric care.
- Enthusiasm for engaging with diverse patient populations.
- Previous supervision experience of Advanced Practice Providers (PMHNPs/PAs) is preferred.
