Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough property inspections to evaluate damage in both residential and commercial settings.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, delivering timely and clear communication to assist them throughout the claims process.
- Collaborate with insurance agents, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate claims processing.
- Assess and negotiate claims valued up to $500,000, ensuring compliance with policy standards and local regulations.
- Compile and document findings, preparing detailed reports that support the claims procedure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, particularly in challenging or sensitive situations.
- Proficient in damage assessment, estimation of repair costs, and negotiation of settlements.
- Familiarity with claims management software, including Xactimate and related tools.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
- Physical capability to lift, climb ladders, and inspect rooftops at various heights.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in property claims or field inspections, with a solid understanding of residential and commercial construction practices.
