Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Regional Field Manager (RFM) to spearhead operations in a designated territory, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. This position is perfect for an individual possessing a robust background in claims management, contractor relations, and customer service. As the RFM, you will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and property owners while managing a portfolio of claims exceeding $50K and striving to meet and surpass all service expectations. This role allows for remote work from a home office, with travel required within the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and assess contractor performance to ensure alignment with client needs and adherence to Service Level Agreements.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with insurance carrier clients, devising strategies to elevate service delivery.
  • Mediate and resolve conflicts among property owners, clients, and contractors, prioritizing efficiency and satisfaction.
  • Partner with risk management teams to address issues related to workmanship and liability, ensuring swift resolutions.
  • Communicate effectively regarding the comprehensive range of services provided and demonstrate their value to clients and contractors.
  • Proactively oversee contractor timelines and performance, making necessary adjustments to meet targets.
  • Conduct periodic property site visits to verify that projects are completed timely and according to specifications.
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new contractors to broaden the network, ensuring they receive adequate training and support.
  • Collaborate with various departments such as recruiting, credentialing, accounting, and risk management to address escalated concerns efficiently.
  • Lead and mentor team members to enhance program performance and ensure adherence to best practices across the region.
  • Organize regular meetings with contractors to review performance metrics, expectations, and areas for improvement.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Prior experience in property insurance or property claims adjusting is preferred.
  • Background in residential and/or commercial construction is beneficial.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40% of the time; reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Familiarity with claims management or estimating software is advantageous.
  • Strong independent work ethic with effective collaboration skills in team settings.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, emphasizing creative problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with various computer applications.
  • Capability to multitask and manage time efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for fostering positive relationships with clients and contractors.
  • Professional and impartial when addressing conflicting interests and resolving disputes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Previous experience managing claims and contractor relationships is highly desirable.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Full-Time (M-F, 8 am - 5 pm)
  • Salary: \(60,000 to \)70,000 (commensurate with experience and assigned territory)
