Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Deal Desk Manager to join our innovative team in a remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in facilitating successful deals and empowering our services sales teams through collaboration across various departments including Services Sales, Advisory, Delivery, Legal, Finance, and Sales Operations. Your expertise will be vital in crafting compliant and compelling Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, and other essential material.

Key Responsibilities

  • Qualify Requests: Collaborate with stakeholders to outline project plans, estimate scopes, and develop comprehensive proposals.
  • Analyze Requirements: Gain an in-depth understanding of customer needs and research relevant information to create impactful business and technical documentation.
  • Develop Proposals: Review customer-defined scopes alongside business, legal, and financial requirements to produce clear and compliant responses.
  • Coordinate Deliverables: Oversee the creation of SOWs, proposals, and supplementary materials while managing multiple projects to meet strict deadlines.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with various teams to deliver high-priority customer documentation efficiently.
  • Document Review: Proofread and organize drafts to ensure clarity, readability, and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Deal Validation Meetings: Engage in discussions to confirm SOW contents and manage necessary adjustments.
  • Process Improvement: Work collaboratively with team members to enhance proposal processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain and update a knowledge repository of company, software, and service information to guarantee accuracy.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior colleagues on proposal processes and industry standards.
  • Training and Communication: Educate diverse teams on proposal best practices, policies, and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Strong capacity to comprehend and articulate complex business, technical, and legal information.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and sustain collaborative relationships with sales and delivery teams.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading proficiency with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities, adept at juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt swiftly and innovatively to changes in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills to optimize outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the sales lifecycle and its various stages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in producing SOWs and proposals for major contracts.
  • Experience in consulting or with software vendors is advantageous, though not mandatory.
  • A degree in business, communications, English, marketing, computer science, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation And Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from \(129,000 to \)225,600, complemented by potential equity and incentive compensation. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical plans, a 401(k) plan with company matching, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), and more.
