Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute comprehensive vulnerability management policies and procedures, including patch management.
- Establish and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for vulnerabilities related to enterprise security and products.
- Communicate risks and potential impacts from security vulnerabilities to internal teams and clients when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering and other departments to triage and address vulnerabilities in both first- and third-party software and dependencies.
- Act as a liaison amongst various security teams (e.g., Hardware, Application Security, Offensive Security) to ensure efficient management and resolution of security tickets.
- Proven experience in developing and overseeing vulnerability management frameworks on a large scale.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively guide teams of vulnerability engineers and analysts in identifying, triaging, and remediating vulnerabilities.
- Expertise in risk assessment, with the capability to identify significant vulnerabilities and facilitate resolutions with engineering and IT teams.
- Proficient in managing security for both Linux and Windows environments, including tool management and server patching.
- Familiarity with security tools such as EDR, antivirus, and log analysis tools in complex environments.
- Technical knowledge in cybersecurity tools and systems administration, along with an understanding of cloud infrastructures and networking principles.
- Certifications such as Security , Network , GREM, GPEN, GCED, CEH, GSEC, or OSCP are advantageous.
- Relevant experience in vulnerability management programs.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certifications in cybersecurity or information security are desirable.
