Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage solar energy programs throughout Texas, ensuring effective execution and scalability.
- Supervise a small team of direct reports or independent contractors, offering mentorship and support.
- Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with organizational stakeholders and funders.
- Collaborate with regional support teams to deliver impactful programs.
- Represent the organization within coalitions, advocating for solar energy rights and initiatives.
- Direct group purchasing campaigns for solar installations and low-income solar projects statewide.
- Act as a spokesperson for the organization, enhancing public understanding of solar policies and practices.
- Organize and engage in both virtual and in-person community events.
- Develop and expand a robust network of donors and volunteers across the state.
- Strong organizational capabilities paired with problem-solving and troubleshooting proficiency.
- Ability to work autonomously while also engaging in strategic and collaborative efforts.
- Exceptional computer skills and comfort in remote work environments, including regular travel across Texas.
- Must be a Texas resident.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, team leadership, and relationship building.
- Knowledge of solar energy, environmental issues, and energy policy in Texas is preferred.
