Job Overview: As the Vice President of Sales, you will be instrumental in directing the sales strategy and leading the sales team. This role requires close collaboration with senior management and the Branch Manager to drive profitability while steering the company towards a digital transformation. Your primary duty will be to formulate strategies that offer compelling, financially-oriented solutions to building owners, emphasizing long-standing relationships and business model innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of Account Managers skilled in establishing strong connections across various organizational levels.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities that provide exceptional value to building owners.
  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy that sets us apart in the marketplace.
  • Effectively manage customer acquisition costs while prioritizing clients for sustainable success.
  • Craft winning proposals and presentations that align with client objectives.
  • Optimize resource allocation to focus on opportunities that meet performance standards.
  • Present value propositions that illustrate how we enhance customer project returns through accelerated time-to-market, cost efficiencies, and lifecycle savings.
  • Conduct negotiations with customers to balance risk while maximizing profitability and cash flow.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional sales management experience (industry experience is advantageous).
  • Strong attention to detail alongside the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proficient in organizational, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
  • Comfortable analyzing financial statements and discussing key financial concepts, including return on investment and customer acquisition costs.
  • Willingness to travel locally up to 70% of the time, including client meetings and site visits.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred.

Work Environment: This role is primarily office-based, with regular visits to job sites that may require the use of basic tools and exposure to standard construction conditions.

Physical Demands: Regular activities include sitting, standing, walking, talking, listening, and possessing the visual acuity and manual dexterity needed for the role. Occasional requirements may include climbing, stooping, crouching, crawling, reaching, or performing repetitive motions. Light physical exertion may be necessary, including the ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
