Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive electrical systems, including power, lighting, and distribution networks, as well as heat tracing and semiconductor manufacturing equipment installations.
• Undertake Instrumentation and Control (I&C) design by specifying suitable instruments, developing point management databases, and coordinating instrument tagging nomenclature with mechanical and chemical engineering teams.
• Engineer low voltage systems encompassing telecommunications, life safety, and security applications.
• Conduct thorough engineering studies for power and low voltage systems, analyze existing conditions, evaluate system capabilities, and recommend enhancements or upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful design and execution of projects.
• Author technical documentation and engineering reports to support project goals.
• Perform site investigations to capture field conditions and verify designs.
• Program control systems (PLC, DCS, DDC) and configure OIT/SCADA systems.
• Set up field devices, including VFDs, instruments, and OEM devices.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent experience is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as an independent designer/engineer, particularly in advanced technology and industrial sectors.
• EIT certification or PE registration is welcomed but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, electrical system modeling software (e.g., SKM, EasyPower), and PLC/DCS/SCADA systems is highly regarded.
