Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Associate Director for our Veeva Platform Application Services, who will serve as a pivotal product owner and leader in this domain. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of technology architecture, design, best practices, demand prioritization, and the end-to-end delivery of solutions on an enterprise level. Key Responsibilities

• Forge strong relationships with stakeholders to accurately capture their requirements and deliver tailored solutions utilizing Agile/SAFe methodologies, dedicating approximately 30% of your role to this engagement.
• Direct the design, development, testing, and delivery of Veeva Platform solutions, ensuring adherence to exceptional quality standards and providing substantial value, comprising about 35% of your responsibilities.
• Offer technical guidance in architecture and design to guarantee scalable and robust solutions, while collaborating closely with functional stakeholders and development teams.
• Formulate and present strategic proposals that influence investment decisions concerning the Veeva Platform, contributing to long-term technological planning.
• Mentor and foster team development, managing team capacity, recruiting talent, and cultivating a high-performance culture to effectively meet business demands.
• Assess and prioritize project demands based on business value and return on investment, escalating budget and resource needs to senior leadership as necessary.
• Navigate complex situations and manage change collaboratively with IT and business stakeholders to drive consensus and clarity in decision-making.
• Act as a champion for Agile leadership, gathering stakeholder feedback and guiding solution delivery aligned with Agile/SAFe principles, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure ongoing advancement.
  
  

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in application services development, delivery, and stakeholder management, particularly in the Veeva Platform or analogous areas.
• 6 years in IT project management, system enhancements, support, consulting, or product management.
• Demonstrated success in leading IT operations and implementation projects.
• Familiarity with Life Sciences business processes, especially regarding Clinical, Safety, Regulatory, or Quality Veeva Vaults.
• Strong understanding of software implementation methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of regulatory impacts (e.g., GxP, SOX) on data and processes in the Life Sciences sector.
