We are in search of a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant to enhance our financial operations team. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute journal entries, including recurring, accruals (payroll, bonuses, utilities), prepaids, and one-time entries.
- Complete month-end reconciliations, conduct variance analysis, and address discrepancies.
- Support working capital management, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory oversight.
- Perform variance analysis comparing actual results against budgets, forecasts, and previous year outcomes.
- Manage fixed assets, capital additions, disposals, and depreciation, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Assist in establishing inventory balances and supervise physical inventory activities, including cycle counts.
- Review and analyze daily and monthly inventory reports to detect potential issues.
- Support reporting and internal control initiatives to uphold the integrity of financial statements.
- Prepare documentation for annual financial, tax, and bank audits.
- Provide auxiliary support for Accounting Specialists as necessary.
- Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.
- Proficiency in prioritizing tasks, managing multiple deadlines, and thriving under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in NetSuite or similar ERP systems (experience with CPM tools such as OneStream, Adaptive, Hyperion, or Planful is advantageous).
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline (preferred).
- 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong computer competency, capable of managing complex financial data.
