Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger through timely and precise journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets.
• Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing reconciliations and adjusting entries.
• Generating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Conducting balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts such as cash, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets.
• Performing variance analysis to uncover trends and deliver insights on financial performance.
• Assisting with both internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls while identifying potential areas for enhancement.
• Supporting tax reporting and compliance activities, including sales and property tax obligations.
• Seeking continuous improvements in accounting processes and financial reporting.
