Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document daily financial transactions.
- Process payroll on a weekly basis and manage all related documentation.
- Supervise accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions.
- Execute daily remote deposits while ensuring accurate reconciliation.
- Reconcile monthly bank accounts and maintain precise financial records.
- Manage supplier accounts, verify transactions, and facilitate timely reconciliations.
- Create and oversee invoicing processes.
- Maintain organized financial records through proper filing and document management.
- Prepare monthly and year-end financial reports assisting in the financial closing processes.
- Uphold bookkeeping standards and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Assist with documentation and coordination for construction projects as required.
- Facilitate internal and external audit processes by providing necessary financial documentation.
- Track and manage insurance certificates relevant for audits.
- Ensure general ledger accuracy and oversee its maintenance.
- Prepare and distribute subcontractor 1099s and other IRS-required documents.
- Monitor cash flow projections and provide insightful financial analysis.
- Process AIA documents for construction projects.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring proper sorting and distribution.
- Comply with company and industry financial regulatory requirements.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned to foster team support.
- Prior experience in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial best practices.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and AppFolio; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with AIA documentation is advantageous.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to efficiently prioritize multiple tasks.
