We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. In this key role, you will contribute significantly to the financial stability of our diverse clientele by managing comprehensive bookkeeping tasks and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping operations for multiple clients.
- Process payroll and payroll taxes, including W-2s, 1099s, and relevant returns.
- Record financial transactions and perform reconciliations of general ledger, credit card, and cash accounts.
- Review accounts payable and ensure correct allocation of expenses.
- Monitor and report on accounts receivable to uphold financial accuracy.
- Prepare and file sales tax returns for business clients.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and CFS to efficiently manage financial data.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience.
