Position Overview
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Compensation: $25.00 per hour
- Location: Jackson, MI
- Maintain precise financial documentation, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process payroll and oversee timely tax disbursements.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and financial transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and statements.
- Manage general ledger accounts and expense tracking.
- Handle invoices, bills, and bank deposits.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including W-9 and 1099 reporting.
- Support audits and ensure adherence to regulatory financial compliance.
- Assist in purchasing, expense tracking, and the management of company assets.
- Uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive financial information with care.
- Embrace additional responsibilities as necessary to support financial operations.
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
- Strong comprehension of bookkeeping principles and accounting standards.
- Experience with Sage 50 Peachtree accounting software is highly valued.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute with high accuracy.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Willingness to undergo a credit background check if required.
