Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reports, including Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, journal entries, and maintain the general ledger.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal company policies.
- Utilize QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop) for efficient management of financial transactions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver financial insights that facilitate informed decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management efforts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax professionals as required.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or bookkeeping, ideally within a midsize business setting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop).
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, and financial reporting processes.
- Experience in preparing Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and managing the general ledger.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate effectively both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and additional financial software is advantageous.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
