Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant, preferably with CPA or EA certification, to join our esteemed accounting firm as a Manager. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of a variety of tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns.
• Conduct thorough tax research and provide strategic guidance on tax planning and compliance.
• Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their financial needs are consistently met and exceeded.
• Assist clients in responding to IRS audit inquiries and communications.
• Manage client accounts to ensure accurate and timely billing and collections.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in tax and accounting regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to create and implement effective accounting and tax policies and procedures.
• Mentor junior staff, providing guidance to foster their professional growth.
  
  

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or EA certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience focused on tax preparation and accounting services.
• Extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent multi-tasking abilities.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
