Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and facilitate child/family team (CFT) meetings while collaborating with other agencies for effective discharge planning and coordination.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions targeting dependencies, life transitions, and personal challenges.
- Implement strengths-based and solution-focused interventions to empower clients in overcoming obstacles.
- Develop and execute tailored treatment plans, actively engaging clients and their families in resources for ongoing support, including aftercare and transition planning.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation to comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including incident reports and performance audits.
- Cultivate an environment of open communication, assisting clients in exploring their emotions and gaining insights into their challenges and relationships.
- Gather relevant client information through interviews and assessments to ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment.
- Advocate for clients by coordinating needed services and managing crises as required.
- Profound understanding of human behavior, mental health, and performance, alongside knowledge of psychological research methods.
- Proficiency in diagnosing, treating, and supporting individuals with mental and behavioral health challenges.
- Awareness of group dynamics, societal influences, and cultural factors impacting mental health.
- Strong skills in Telehealth technology and virtual therapeutic practices.
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
- Valid licensure from the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
- Experience working with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing various emotional and behavioral difficulties.
- Demonstrated capability to provide clinical services in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with Telehealth platforms and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is advantageous.
