Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor clinicians across various locations, ensuring adherence to high standards of care.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to fulfill staffing requirements, including recruitment, screening, and interviews for new clinicians.
- Maintain compliance with pertinent laws, regulations, and standards of documentation.
- Stay abreast of developments in mental health practices, evidence-based treatments, and relevant billing and coding methodologies.
- Offer guidance and feedback to leadership, contributing to the achievement of program objectives.
- Represent the medical team in leadership meetings, facilitating effective communication.
- Oversee the onboarding and continuous development of clinicians, including coordinating training.
- Monitor communication channels, responding to clinician inquiries in a timely manner.
- Approve time-off requests for clinicians, ensuring optimal scheduling efficiency.
- Regularly evaluate clinician morale and address concerns constructively and supportively.
- Supervise clinician peer pod meetings and advise on necessary corrective actions.
- Assist in crafting and executing new policies and procedures.
- Supervise market medical resource directors and support the rollout of new initiatives.
- Board Certification in Psychiatry (BC/BE).
- Active Physician License in Virginia and/or Maryland.
- Current Controlled Substance License and DEA License.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical environment.
- A strong commitment to enhancing mental health care and improving patient outcomes.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
