Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with CPAs to facilitate client navigation through US tax projects
- Manage the entire expat tax preparation process with precision
- Maintain exemplary communication with clients throughout all stages of the tax process
- Stay informed about evolving tax legislation that could impact client situations
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- At least 2 years of direct experience in expat tax preparation
- Actively pursuing or possessing a US CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent license
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to work
- Capacity to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
- Ability to meet production schedules and deadlines
- Familiarity with international tax forms, including Form 2555, Form 1116, and Form 8833. Knowledge of Form 5471, Form 8865, Form 8858, Form 3520, and Form 8621 is advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in expat tax preparation
- Holding or actively pursuing a US CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent license is required
- Strong foundation in accounting principles and practices
