Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Technical Program Manager to identify security vulnerabilities and design effective solutions.
- Monitor systems and respond to security incidents impacting both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
- Review and implement secure AWS cloud architecture solutions, focusing on VPC configurations, IAM policies, and encryption mechanisms.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for AWS infrastructure and applications, developing remediation strategies for identified risks.
- Foster a culture of security awareness by providing training and guidance to AWS users, developers, and administrators.
- Develop and lead incident response plans for information security breaches.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud security best practices, principles, and technologies, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
- Proficient in the use of cloud security tools and services, notably AWS Security Hub and native AWS security services.
- Strong understanding of security compliance requirements and frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Proficient scripting and automation skills to enhance security processes.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on security measures.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in cloud cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing for and participating in security audits for cloud environments.
- Proven capability to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Extensive experience with AWS network security and familiarity with SIEM systems.
