Key Responsibilities
- Direct all accounting functions, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Revenue Recognition.
- Oversee the consolidation and financial reporting processes for multiple entities.
- Ensure the timely preparation and dissemination of monthly financial statements.
- Investigate technical accounting issues to guarantee compliance.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Provide ad-hoc analyses and lead various reporting initiatives, including decision support metrics and analytics.
- Contribute to the forecasting and budgeting efforts.
- Aid in formulating business cases to endorse new investments and strategic projects.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal compliance regulations and tax obligations.
- Over 3 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, ideally within a SaaS environment.
- Advanced degree in Accounting is essential.
- CPA or CMA designation is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficient in accounting software, specifically Sage Intacct.
- Advanced Excel expertise, particularly in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
