Position: Director of Finance (Remote) - Nationwide

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance who will serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and senior leadership team. Key Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO, providing valuable financial insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with division leaders to evaluate and enhance business strategies, promoting sustainable growth.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in external partnerships.
• Lead the month-end close process, treasury functions, and preparation of comprehensive financial statements.
• Ensure timely and precise financial reporting, including monthly and annual statements.
• Develop and sustain strong internal controls and procedural documentation.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, facilitating seamless operations and approvals.
• Monitor collections processes to align with industry best practices.
• Supervise state sales and use tax filings, along with external audit and tax compliance requirements.
• Identify and rectify inefficiencies in internal processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Create reports and analytical tools to support data-driven strategic decision-making.
  
  

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (Master's, CPA, or MBA is preferred).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks; familiarity with Bill.com and HubSpot is advantageous.
• Over 6 years of comprehensive accounting experience, including treasury functions and month-end close.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
• Proven history of building and enhancing finance departments in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Annual salary range: \(110,000-\)125,000.
