- Upholding confidentiality and discretion while managing sensitive financial information
- Accurately and timely recording financial transactions
- Inputting precise entries into the general ledger and reconciling subsidiary ledger accounts
- Assisting in the compilation of financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements
- A solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience using accounting software (work or academic experience)
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient 10-key typing skills (8,000 keystrokes per hour with 95% accuracy preferred)
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- Preferred: at least one year of relevant work experience
