Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger with accuracy and completeness in journal entries.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial documents.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, encompassing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with senior accountants during month-end and year-end closing activities, including adjusting entries and preparation for audits.
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, with a background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or as a junior accountant being advantageous.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a keen attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
