Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate new cases assigned by the adjuster.
- Draft various legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
- Respond to discovery inquiries and prepare for depositions.
- Conduct depositions, argue motions, and represent the company in court hearings.
- Prepare for mediation and trial processes, attending as necessary.
- Manage client communications and provide comprehensive updates.
- Collaborate with expert witnesses and oversee deposition preparations.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Texas trucking or auto accident defense litigation.
- Strong history of managing a significant volume of trucking and/or auto accident cases, from initial filing through trial.
- Experience in both plaintiff and defense personal injury matters, particularly in trucking or motor vehicle incidents.
- Demonstrated capability to work autonomously and handle diverse legal tasks, including complex cases.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Proven ability to navigate cases independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
