Job Overview

In the position of IT Asset Management Specialist, you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing software assets, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is required, along with a fervent commitment to IT governance and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure comprehensive understanding of software usage rights, contractual stipulations, and conditions.
• Execute IT asset management best practices, encompassing license remediation, reconciliation, and harvesting.
• Collaborate effectively with various teams utilizing platforms such as ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Costpoint.
• Design and oversee ServiceNow catalogs and software license entitlements.
• Spearhead initiatives aimed at process enhancement throughout the organization.
• Maintain effective communication and partnership with cross-functional teams to achieve collective objectives.
• Grasp the technical elements of IT software contract models, including hosting, subscription, SaaS, concurrent licensing, and enterprise agreements.
• Retain awareness of the interplay between contracts, IT assets, and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

• Profound understanding of software usage rights and contractual terms.
• Familiarity with IT asset management best practices, including license remediation and reconciliation.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
