Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all financial operations for assigned non-profit clients.
• Conduct regular virtual meetings with clients to discuss financial analyses and strategic initiatives.
• Review and evaluate monthly financial reports and analyses generated by the accounting team.
• Act as the main point of contact between clients and their external professional service providers.
• Manage cash flow and initiate payments for approved expenditures.
• Attend and contribute to client finance committee and board meetings.
• Provide leadership and direction to the client engagement team.
• Assist in preparing operating budgets and forecasting financial futures.
• Maintain effective financial operations while managing client-related risks.
• Prepare comprehensive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and related management reports.
• Develop and uphold a robust system of internal controls.
• Ensure compliance and oversee tax planning and regulatory reporting.
• Address unexpected and urgent financial matters as they emerge.
• Mentor staff members, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Create and implement a marketing strategy while pursuing relevant training.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of expertise in finance or accounting, preferably within a mid-level capacity.
• Extensive experience in non-profit accounting practices.
• CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
• Proficient understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Capability to analyze financial data to create insightful reports, statements, and forecasts.
• Strong leadership capabilities, with exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
