• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure systems and processes adhere to industry standards (e.g., HiTrust, PCI, NIST), enhancing compliance and minimizing audit discrepancies.
• Collaboration & Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with DevOps, IT, and business units to incorporate security with minimal disruption to operations.
• Cloud Security: Safeguard cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), addressing cloud-related security risks and ensuring compliance.
• Automation and Tooling: Utilize automation tools to enhance security operations, increasing efficiency while reducing manual workloads.
• Vendor Management: Oversee security vendors and tools to develop cost-effective security solutions and enhance third-party security performance.
• Certifications & Expertise: Possess industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM, reflecting a comprehensive understanding of security best practices and leadership capabilities.
• Emerging Technologies: Remain abreast of emerging security technologies (e.g., AI/ML-driven solutions, blockchain security) and implement innovative tools to fortify security operations.
