Remote Senior Project Manager - Civil Aviation

Job Overview

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Aviation Project Manager to spearhead and oversee aviation-related projects, focusing on both airside and landside design components. This pivotal role requires you to manage all facets of project management, from conceptual planning through to execution, ensuring that each project is delivered on schedule and within budget while aligning with client expectations. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to guarantee the provision of top-quality design solutions and play a crucial role in business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil aviation projects by enforcing project management policies and procedures.
• Define the scope of services, negotiate fees, and guide the project team to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion.
• Identify and communicate additional service needs to clients, working proactively to secure additional fees as needed.
• Collaborate with project accountants to ensure accurate and timely client invoicing while assisting with collections when necessary.
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction by consistently meeting or surpassing project expectations.
• Serve as the Engineer of Record when required.
• Develop engineering solutions that address client needs and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Implement stringent quality control processes to guarantee that all deliverables adhere to high standards.
• Create detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for engineering tasks.
• Assist in the preparation of scopes and budgets for new task orders or amendments.
• Lead design teams for aviation airside and/or landside projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide mentorship and support to design staff as needed.
